GREENWOOD — A One-Artist-Show by Amateur Watercolor Artist, Joan Ferguson, will be featured at the Southside Art League, Off Broadway Gallery in old Greenwood. She will be exhibiting a collection of original watercolor paintings, prints and notecards.
Joan still considers herself an amateur artist, but has continued learning and growing as an artist. Her proudest accomplishment was entering as an amateur and winning “Best of Show” with her Lioness Painting, at the Brown County Art Gallery. Joan has also ventured out to begin teaching and sharing her love of watercolor to beginner artists at her church and hosts on occasion “Art in the barn” at friend’s barn.
The artwork will be displayed at SALI from Aug. 6 through Aug. 30. at The Southside Art League, Inc. (SALI) Off Broadway Gallery, 299 E. Broadway Street, Greenwood.
Visit the gallery during regular hours Wed. – Sat. 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Closed Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. There will be a reception for Joan at the SALI Open House, Friday Aug. 8, 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
