INDIANAPOLIS — Libraries provide value that can be measured in dollars. With recent updates to the Indianapolis Public Library self-checkout system, it’s easier than ever for visitors to see exactly how much they’re saving by borrowing materials.
Printed and emailed receipts from self-check machines now include a personalized savings total, showing how much a guest has saved over the past year and throughout their borrowing history.
In addition to books and other materials, a library card provides free access to streaming services, eBooks, audiobooks, language learning tools, and platforms like LinkedIn Learning.
