Heartland Film Festival Announces Winners and Awards

INDIANAPOLIS — The 33rd Heartland International Film Festival recently announced the 2024 award winnders and presented more than $60,000 in prizes to the recipients.
Major cash prizes were awarded to La Cocina for Narrative Feature Grand Prize, and Porcelain War for Documentary Feature Grand Prize. Craig T. Nelson attended and accepted the Pioneering Spirit Award: Lifetime Achievement Award. He starred in the film Green and Gold which won the Jimmy Stewart Legacy Award. Green and Gold also received the Narrative Official Selection Audience Choice Award.
Audience Choice Awards went to documentary feature Champions of the Golden Valley, Narrative Special Presentation September 5, and Blink. Other winners included documentary Zurawski v Texas.
