INDIANAPOLIS — The Central Indiana Chapter American Theatre Organ Society and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association will present their 2024 Fall fundraiser, Remember the Paramount: The Next Generation on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Hilbert Circle Theatre. Tickets are $35 for adults, and 18 and under with ID are free. Tickets can be purchased online at indianapolissymphony.org/events, or at the ISO box office downtown.
The show will feature the ISO’s Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ on the main stage to showcase the many capabilities of the instrument. This year, theatre organist Justin Stahl was inspired by the Paramount Music Palace that was located at 465 and East Washington St. from 1979-1995. The master of ceremonies will be Ken Double, former organist at the Palace, and will feature a guest appearance by the Pike High School Jazz Ensemble. Stahl has played the Mighty Wurlitzer for the ISO’s Yuletide Celebrations for 11 years.
The show will feature music from Mary Poppins and other popular Disney tunes, plus many more contemporary musical selections.
