INDIANAPOLIS — Medical Mutts Service Dog, a leading organization in training shelter dogs to become service dogs, is proud to announce its 10th Anniversary celebration coinciding with Service Dog Awareness Month this September. The organization invites the community to join in the festivities all month long and support its mission of helping people, saving dogs, and promoting kindness.
There will be an Open House and Adoption Event on September 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Medical Mutts facility, located at 6120 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the facility, meet some of the adoptable dogs, and gain insight into the organization’s mission to provide trained service dogs to those in need.
The highlight of the anniversary celebration will be the 10th Anniversary Party on September 30th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm, held at Upland Brewery, 4939 E. 82nd St., Indianapolis. This fun-filled evening will feature a dog costume contest, live music, a silent auction, and exciting giveaways. Guests are encouraged to bring their dogs and enjoy the festivities on the patio.
Throughout the month of September, Medical Mutts Service Dog aims to raise $10,000 to support its mission. Every donation will help make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities who benefit from the services provided by Medical Mutts. Donations can be made online at medicalmutts.org/give
