INDIANAPOLIS – To assist in the health and welfare of the Indianapolis community, Cancer Support Community Indiana in partnership with the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center Office of Community Outreach & Engagement will host a Cancer Screening and Resource Event on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Martin University, 2186 N. Sherman Drive. The event is free and open to the public. Insurance is NOT required and walk-ins are welcome on a first-come-first-served basis with NO registration necessary.
The event will focus on skin and oral cancer screenings and offer prostate assessments, colon risk cancer assessments, vision testing, cholesterol testing, glucose testing, and blood pressure testing. In addition, HPV & Hepatitis B vaccinations will be available at no cost. Educational resources will be available as well.
