GREENFIELD — Lawrence-based Acting Up Productions (AUP) will present “Where are you Christmas? A Cabaret” on Nov. 22, 23, 29, 30, and Dec. 1, 6, 7, and 8 at the Creative Arts and Event Center in Greenfield.
Using popular holiday favorites mixed with new, lesser-known, and original songs, this show promises an evening of laughter and music that will touch your heart. Featured songs include “We Need a Little Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” “Let There Be Peace on Earth,” “Mister Santa,” and even a Gilbert and Sullivan parody.
This cabaret was created and written by AUP owners R. Brian Noffke and Elizabeth Williams. The cast includes AUP alumni Katie Rae, Liz Porter, John Hayes, Denise Fort, Debbi Sponsler and Angelina Hofmann. AUP newcomers include Lisa Davis, Nathan Jones, Cathy Tolzmann, and Christian Jones.
“Where are you Christmas? A Cabaret” will be presented Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at the Creative Arts and Event Center, 2 W. Main St., Greenfield. Tickets are $12 Reserved or $10 for Seniors/Students with ID and $15/$12 at the door. Intermission includes a holiday treat provided by the Creative Arts and Event Center.
