INDIANAPOLIS — Film historian Eric Grayson will screen Thunder Over Texas, a 1934 film directed by the legendary director Edgar Ulmer, at the Garfield Park Arts Center, 2432 Conservatory Dr., on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m.
This western, the February Vintage Movie Night selection, features actor Guinn Williams as a cowboy who tries to protect a young woman whose father was murdered because he had railroad maps that showed the location of a proposed new line. Now the killers are after her because they think she has the maps. Grayson will, as always, show “real film on real projectors,” and offer a short prior to the main feature. He will introduce the short and film and offer a Q&A afterwards.
Admission is $5 and concessions are $1. For further information, visit www.gpacarts.org or call 317-327-7135.
