CUMBERLAND — A special feature of this year’s Cumberland Arts Festival on Sat., Aug. 18 is the “Ten Worthy Places” Plein Air Art Competition. The paintings, created between June 16 and Aug. 10 will be showcased to the public at a Preview Night, Wed., Aug. 15, from 5 – 9, at the Historic Buckley House, 11706 E. Washington St. and at the Cumberland Arts Festival, Aug. 18.
In preparation for the Preview Night, the paintings will be at Cumberland First Baptist Church for judging. The public is invited for a sneak peek. The awards will be announced at the festival at 1 p.m.
