INDIANAPOLIS — The city of Indianapolis recently released a neighborhood redevelopment dashboard. The dashboard allows for transparency with residents to transform 2,000 homes. The dashboard details the City’s progress on the 2,000 Homes Initiative — Mayor Hogsett’s commitment to rehab, repair, or demolish 2,000 homes that blight neighborhoods. The dashboard provides a visual representation of data, detailing homes transformed by City agency, by intervention type, and by location. Residents can also use the dashboard to view City interventions on problem properties in their neighborhood. The City has transformed more than 1,500 homes on more than 900 unique parcels since January 2017.
