INDIANAPOLIS – President Joe Therber today announced the appointment of the next principal of Scecina Memorial High School. Joseph (Joe) Brettnacher, Ph.D., who currently is the superintendent of Catholic schools for the Diocese of Columbus in Ohio, will begin serving the Scecina Community as principal on Mon., Aug. 7.
As he prepares to join the Scecina Community, Brettnacher said, “I am honored and excited by the opportunity to serve Scecina Memorial High School as the next principal. Doing so will allow me to continue my vocation and passion for Catholic education. It is the school’s dedication, as part of its mission, to motivate students to live as servant leaders in the inspiring footsteps of Father Thomas Scecina that makes me feel fortunate to be part of the Scecina Community. I am looking forward to working with President Therber to advance the school’s mission.”
