IRVINGTON — In support of Irvington Community School’s K-12 art and music programs, the inaugural “Ravens Ride” will take place Sat., Oct. 29 — the same day as the 70th Annual Irvington Halloween Festival.
The Ravens Ride route is approximately 60 miles. Riders leave ICES heading southeast on US 52 to SR 9 then north through Greenfield and on to Fortville, near Geist Reservoir, arriving at Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis (4146 E. 96th St.) for lunch (which will take place even if the actual ride is cancelled due to weather concerns). This ride is open to all motorcycles regardless of brand. Afterwards, riders are invited to attend the Irvington Halloween Festival Street Fair. Free parking for all Ravens Ride registrants will be provided in the west parking lot behind IPA (5751 E. University Ave.).
On-site registration runs from 9-11:30 a.m. at ICES (6705 E. Julian Ave.). Donuts and coffee will be provided. Registration will also feature a “Kids’ Choice Award,” 50/50 Raffle, and more. Kickstands Up at 11:30 a.m. Online registration is available at www.ics-charter.org. Please note: this is a school fundraiser, therefore the registration cost is nonrefundable in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather. Cost is $25 per rider; $40 for “Two Up.” Ravens Ride T-shirt and lunch included (pre-register to guarantee T-shirt size).
