Warren Student Semifinalist in Presidential Scholars Program

INDIANAPOLIS — Dathan Jones, a graduating senior at Warren Central Walker Career Center has been named a semifinalist in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. He was selected from nearly 4,700 candidates expected to graduate from high school this year.
The U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. Scholars are selected on the basis of superior academic and artistic achievements, leadership qualities, strong character and involvement in community and school activities.
A panel of 32 eminent citizens appointed by the President will select the finalists, which will be announced in May.
