Indy Winter Farmers Market Moves to Near Eastside

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indy Winter Farmers Market (IWFM) in its 8th season, makes a move to expand this month.  The new host, Circle City Industrial Complex (CCIC), is a ½ million square foot former manufacturing site, now home to a wide variety of artists, industrial, and office tenants. The IWFM joins the mix to finish out the 2016 portion of the season and its new permanent home. The market will open Jan. 16 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the complex, doors G10 and 11. The market will be open every Saturday until April 30.  The address is 1125 E. Brookside
There will be 13 new vendors (65 in total), the return of food trucks and plenty of free parking featured at the Indy Winter Farmers Market.
“The Indy Winter Farmers Market has been an integral part of downtown Indianapolis’ community and culture for many years and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Circle City Industrial Complex. We believe their vendors and visitors will lend great energy and excitement to our ongoing redevelopment efforts,” Rachel Ferguson, Vice President, Teagen Development
The CCIC is part of a broad revitalization effort of the near eastside.  Spurred initially by dedicated neighborhood associations, the John H. Boner Community Center and the Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center, the area is receiving investments in the form of new businesses and new housing.
