LAWRENCE — Partnerships for Lawrence has announced its first annual Bring Back the Theater Community Clean Up Day at the Theater at Fort Benjamin Harrison, 8920 Otis Ave. On Sat., Sept. 19 and Sept. 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., community volunteers and concerned citizens in the City of Lawrence will work together to beautify the theater by participating in minor landscaping, interior cleaning, minor repairs and helping with painting prep and painting.
Volunteers are needed to help with many tasks. The organization is asking businesses, school groups, churches, civic groups, athletic teams, and individuals to help. Submit registration to volunteer online at www.partnershipsforlawrence.org or call 317-885-8166.
The first 100 volunteers to register for our Bring Back the Theater Community Clean up Day will receive recognition on the First Performance Program and a free ticket to attend a Sneak Peek of the December 3 performance of It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Show.
