The 3rd Annual Irvington Folk Festival has a great line-up for June 20 with Music in the Underground from 7-10 p.m. (9 S. Johnson), and music at the Irving Theatre (tickets $12 at the door). Then on Saturday, the Children’s Festival at Ellenberger Park runs from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with music, storytellers, and more. From noon-8:30 p.m., the Alternative Gift Fair offers local handcrafts — and food trucks! Check out the Main Stage at Ellenberger from noon-8:30 p.m. for non-stop music, including The Whipstitch Salles (2 p.m.), Paul Burris (3:20 p.m.), Harpeth Rising (3:45), Donn Smith (5 p.m.), The Half-Step Sisters (5:20 p.m.), Jude O’Dell and Kathy Cancilla (6:40), and Flatland Harmony Experiment (7 p.m.). There will be jamming at the Jamming Tent and much more. Ellenberger Park is at 5301 E. St. Claire.
The party doesn’t end there. Come to Manley’s Irish Mutt (7401 E. 10th St.) for the after-party and enjoy Blue Collar Bluegrass from 8p.m.-?.
