IRVINGTON — Named one the best farmer’s markets in the city, the Irvington Farmer’s Market will open the 2026 season on Sunday, June 14 from noon-3 p.m. at Ellenberger Park, 5301 East St. Clair Street. The market schedule for the season is July 12, August 9, September 13, and October 11.
Almost 100 vendors take over the middle north section of Ellenberger Park. Many have been with the market since it started in 2000, when it was just a few vendors under the trees. It has grown thanks to the hard work of the Irvington Garden Club, and the thousands of patrons who visit every month to see what’s new and to catch up on old friends.
The market has a wide array of fruits and vegetables from local farms in season. Honey and syrups are available, as well as fresh bouquets and plants in spring.
If you’re hungry, stop by booths selling prepared food, bakery goods, popcorn, drinks, icy treats, and much more. The market is dog-friendly — please keep your pets on a leash and under your control at all times. There are booths selling pet treats and accessories as well.
Local artisans have booths with vintage items, pottery, jewelry, personal care products, paintings, and much more. While you stroll around, visit the booths of local non-profits, as well as Irvington’s preschools, Irvington Development Organization (IDO), our club’s booth, and other civic and professional groups that will be glad to talk with you about community resources.
Every month there’s a local performer who provides great music that makes the Irvington Farmer’s Market the best place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
This month, check out the Irvington Garden Club booth to get information about their upcoming Garden Tour, June 28 from 1-5 p.m.
