Stewart Huff Returns to Indy with “Is Anything OK?”

INDIANAPOLIS — For more than a decade, audiences in Indianapolis have come to know the singular voice of comedian Stewart Huff, a performer whose thoughtful, off-beat storytelling comedy has earned a loyal following across the country and a special place in the hearts of local audiences through his appearances at the IndyFringe Festival.
Now Huff returns to Indianapolis with a brand-new show, fresh from performances at New York’s legendary SoHo Playhouse. Shows will be at the District Theatre, 627 Mass Ave., on April 4 and 5. Doors open on Saturday, April 4 at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 show. On Sunday, April 5, doors open at 3:30 p.m. for the 4 p.m. show. Tickets are $28 online at indydistricttheatre.org
Huff’s comedy is difficult to categorize. Part stand-up, part philosophical wandering, and part deeply personal storytelling, his performances often feel less like a traditional comedy set and more like a conversation with a remarkably funny friend who has spent years observing the strange behavior of humanity.
