INDIANAPOLIS — The Stroke Support Group at Franciscan Health Indianapolis is hosting its annual Gardening Day on Tuesday, May 12 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Cancer Center Courtyard.
A presentation about container gardening will take place, along with planting starts that attendees can take home.
As part of the support group, attendees gain insights from knowledgeable speakers and talk with others who are coping with the effects of stroke. A facilitated discussion will take place after the presentation.
Franciscan medical experts, including physicians, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists and social workers are part of the stroke support group.
The Franciscan Health Indianapolis Cancer Center is located at 8111 South Emerson Ave., in Indianapolis.
In event of rain, the group will meet in the conference room on the second floor as usual.
