LAWRENCE — There will be a special screening of “When Everyone Swims” on International Water Safety Day at the Heartland Film Headquarters, 8950 Otis Ave. on Friday, May 15 at 7 p.m. Tickets are only $5 and include a conversation with the filmmakers, a non-alcoholic drink and small popcorn.
“When Everyone Swims” was an Indiana Spotlight film at the 2025 Heartland Film Festival in October. The documentary explores the history of racial disparities in swimming, the public health crisis of drowning and how people of all backgrounds can have a healthy relationship with water.
