INDIANAPOLIS — Community Health Network recently announced the appointment of Patrick McGill, MD, as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO). A board-certified family medicine physician and seasoned healthcare executive, Dr. McGill was selected following a comprehensive nationwide search and rigorous evaluation process led by Community’s Board of Directors.
Dr. McGill currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at Community Health Network, where he leads system-wide initiatives in information technology strategy, analytics, digital transformation, population health, personalized medicine, health equity, and value-based care. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he has held various leadership roles focused on optimizing clinical workflows, implementing team-based care models, and driving quality improvement.
Dr. McGill succeeds Bryan Mills, who announced his retirement earlier this year after more than 40 years of dedicated service. Under Mills’ leadership, Community Health Network experienced significant growth, expanded access to care, and strengthened its reputation as a trusted healthcare provider across Central Indiana.
Dr. McGill will officially assume the role of president and CEO on January 1, 2026.
