Epilogue Players Present “A Jukebox for the Algonquin” Sept. 11-21

INDIANAPOLIS — Epilogue Players will open their next show to open their 2025-2026 season with the Indiana premeire of A Jukebox for the Algonquin by Paul Stroili directed by Therese Burns on September 11. This show runs September 11-21, 2025. Thursday through Saturday performances start at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays start at 2:00 p.m.  Be advised the show contains graphic language.
A serious comedy about sex, drugs and rocking chairs that explores themes of aging, identity, and the search for meaning in later life. A small group of residents decide they’re not quite ready to “go gently into that good night.” This band of displaced former city dwellers from Brooklyn and The Bronx hatch a plot to prove that aging is not a New York state of mind.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to performance start times. Patrons will not normally be allowed entrance after a performance begins to avoid distraction to the performers and audience members.
