INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Public Health Department is launching a new online resource that offers a stress-free and judgement-free path to improve mental wellness.
CredibleMind, available at marionhealth.crediblemind.com, is a confidential, web-based mental health program available any time of day that helps individuals understand their own mental health. Signing up for the program gives users access to a mental health assessment and a library of thousands of online resources including expert-reviewed videos, podcasts, apps, books and articles all in one location.
The program offers learning labs with real-life guides and tools to improve one’s mental wellbeing. It features information on more than 100 different topics including stress, grief and loss, parenting, relationships, time-management, sleep, happiness and aging.
Plus, information about local resources and professional services is listed in the community resources section of the website.
Those who sign up will have access to their favorite resources, past assessment results to track improvement over time, and resources handpicked by CredibleMind sent directly to them by e-mail.
CredibleMind is available in six languages to have a broader reach in the community: English, Spanish, Burmese, French, Haitian Creole, and Swahili.
In addition to the Web site, marionhealth.crediblemind.com, mental health information and resources are available by calling the Marion County Public Health Department’s Social Work department at (317) 221-2364.
