INDIANAPOLIS — State Senator La Keisha Jackson (D-Indianapolis) will co-host a Youth Anti-Gun Violence Peace Walk alongside the Pathway Resource Center and the Boys and Girls Club on Saturday, Aug. 24. The event aims to raise awareness and rally the community against the growing issue of youth gun violence in Indianapolis.
The Peace Walk will commence at the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis, located at 3870 N Post Rd., with a press conference to officially kick off the event. Participants will then proceed on a peaceful march to the Pathway Resource Center at 10119 John Marshall Dr., where a community fair will await them, featuring resources, activities, and opportunities for community engagement.
Registration for the walk begins at 10 a.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis, followed by a press conference. The walk begins at 11 a.m.
