INDIANAPOLIS — Megan Vukusich has been named the Director of the Department of Metropolitan Development. Vukusich has served as DMD’s Deputy Director since September 2023, overseeing community and economic development for the department. Prior to her return to the City of Indianapolis, Megan was the Director of Planning and Zoning for the City of Fishers, Indiana.
Aryn Schounce has been named the Senior Policy Advisor for the Office of Mayor Joe Hogsett. Schounce has served as the City’s Director of Government Affairs and Strategic Initiatives since 2023. Previously she was the Chief Policy Officer for the Departments of Metropolitan Development (Indy DMD) and Business and Neighborhood Services and has worked at Thomas P. Miller Associates and Big Car Collaborative.
Shea Joyce has been named Director of Government Affairs and Strategic Initiatives and will begin in March 2024. Joyce is an Indianapolis native and has spent her career organizing and leading campaigns across Indiana.
