IRVINGTON — The annual Beastside Brewfest will be held April 27 from 7:00-10:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes. Tickets are $35 in advance, available online at ontaptickets.com or $40 at the door, if tickets are available. Designated driver tickets are $10. The event sells out fast, so patrons are encouraged to reserve them early to avoid disappointment. The Historic Irvington Community Council organizes this very popular fundraiser for the community.
This year, organizers are offering a $50 VIB (Very Important Beast) ticket that entitles the purchaser to early admission (6 p.m.), guaranteed seating, and light snacks.
Entertainment will be by Dream Slice, and food trucks will be available outside, as well as snacks inside. While the final tally of brewers isn’t available just yet, those who have announced participation include Kismetic Beer Company (last year’s best beer winner), Chilly Water, Sun King, Bier Brewery, MashCraft, Fork and Ale House Brewery, Ash & Elm Cider, and Guggman Haus Brewing.
Patrons receive unlimited samples and a commemorative 16 ounce pint glass. Full pints are available for $5.
Professional judges will select their winners, and there is an audience favorite selected from votes. Winners receive bragging rights and the coveted Beast Trophy.
Proceeds are donated to support FIDO (Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside) and the Our Lady of Lourdes playground project.
This is a 21-and-over event. IDs will be checked at the door.
