INDIANAPOLIS — On Nov. 12, the Warren Township Kiwanis Club provided children’s author Debbie LaCroix (pictured, L) a stipend of $225 to visit Liberty Park Elementary School to read her book, It’s Almost Time. Debbie will also be conducting a writing workshop for the students, which is aligned with the Common Core standards in both Math and English.
Karol Bartlett, President of the Warren Township Kiwanis Club (pictured, R) was on hand to present the check to Debbie. Liberty Park was one of four schools visited by Debbie (the others were Eastridge, Lakeside, and Lowell elementary schools).
