On Saturday, July 2, come on out to the annual Independence Day Community Water Gun Fight at Ellenberger Park, 5301 E. St. Clair from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Bring your super soakers, water pistols, and water cannons for an epic water battle. Indianapolis Fire Dept. will be on hand with a water truck, and kids (and kids at heart) will have lots of fun.
The City of Indianapolis will host their annual fireworks display on Monday, July 4 at 10 p.m. sharp. They will be launched from the 500 N. Building, so pick out a vantage point for viewing.
City of Lawrence 4th Fest at Lawrence Community Park begins at 10 a.m. The Parade Grand Marshall Jack Keefer will kick off the morning events with the 4th Fest Parade, Classic Car Show, and Kiwanis Club Fish Fry. The Food Truck & Music Festival will start at 6 p.m. with a performance by Jennifer Mlott. At 7pm, Big Rosco & the Hammers will take the stage and play until the Fireworks show begins around 10 p.m. The Community Park is located at 5301 N. Franklin Rd.
