INDIANAPOLIS – On Saturday, March 2, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Recruiting Unit tried out an additional day of “run club.” Typically held on Tuesday evenings, “run club” is an opportunity for officers to come together with potential future recruits, fostering camaraderie as they build the physical skills necessary to pass the IMPD’s physical agility test. Due to significantly increased demand over recent weeks, the IMPD Recruiting Unit will trial this additional “run club” day. The program may be expanded to Saturdays on a regular basis depending on participation levels.
If you are interested in a career with IMPD, check out the fun run on Saturdays from 8:45-10:00 a.m. at the IMPD Training Academy, 901 N Post Road.
