INDIANAPOLIS — Join NESCO and near eastside residents and stakeholders Feb. 20 from 8:00 a.m. to noon at East Tenth Street United Methodist Church (2327 E. 10th St.) to celebrate the near eastside community, meet neighbors, and learn about strategic initiatives.
The Congress will start with the standing tradition of a pitch-in breakfast and networking from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Neighbors are asked to bring a breakfast dish to share. Beverages will be provided by the Congress steering committee.
Come and see who will be the next NESCO Legend and who will be a part of the Interim Board of Directors. This year’s Congress will focus on gathering neighborhood feedback for a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis. This information will inform NESCO in its strategic planning process that will take place this spring. The day will conclude with presentations from the Boner Center and Lanterns Foundation.
There will be plenty of Silent Auction items available with a particular focus on the spirit and treasures of near eastside neighborhoods. Attendees will be able to bid throughout the event.
