INDIANAPOLIS — Stitching together the story of the United States.Moment by moment and generation by generation, Americans have struggled, persevered, and worked to define the promise of freedom. • Discover how the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 created a blueprint for governing the Old Northwest.
• Encounter stories of Native leaders, frontier settlers, abolitionists, and national figures like Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant.
• Explore pivotal moments in the country’s search for freedom, including westward expansion, the Underground Railroad, and the Civil War.
The exhibition runs through Jan. 22, 2028 at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 W. Ohio St. Free Parking in IHS Lot off New York Street.
Tickets are 415 for adults, 440 seniors, youth $5, and children under 5 are free. Advance tickets are not necessary at this time. Tickets are available at https://indianahistory.org/events/freedoms-framework/
