INDIANAPOLIS — The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is joining the global Giving Tuesday movement and participating in the Indianapolis Gives Challenge, a city-wide fundraising initiative to elevate the work of nonprofits strengthening the community.
This effort comes at a critical moment. Indiana families are navigating a growing childcare funding crisis, with recent cuts leaving many parents suddenly without support and hundreds of children without access to the safe, high-quality care they depend on. The Y is stepping in to help ensure local families don’t face these challenges alone.
The Giving Tuesday & Indianapolis Gives Challenge will run from Dec. 1–11. During this 11-day giving window, the Y will raise funds for its Childcare Crisis Campaign, an initiative designed to help working parents stay employed while keeping children learning, growing and connected to dependable support systems. Every donation made to the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis during the challenge at the link below directly supports families in need.
