INDIANAPOLIS — The ABCs of Diabetes is a free, four-part diabetes education series offered monthly by the Marion County Public Health Department. Classes are designed for adults with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Family and friends are also welcome to attend. Topics include eating healthier, increasing activity, taking medications, and preventing complications.
In-person and online classes are available. Classes in August will be held at the Martindale-Brightwood Branch Library, 2434 N. Sherman Drive, on Tuesday, August 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 5:30–7:30 pm.
