Applause!: Oct. 21-27

• Things are popping up on East 10th St.! The owners of Broad Ripple Brewpub, the oldest microbrewer in the state (before being a brewer was cool), is closing on the old Mayfair building at 10th and Hamilton. They will be renovating the space, transforming it into a family-friendly pub. We’ve also gotten word that the Circle City Industrial Complex is continuing its onward march to becoming an amazing space of eclectic businesses and artists with the opening of Centerpoint Brewing soon, and the Convivial Community Bar fronting 10th. And the Rivoli is making tremendous strides to raise the roof on the historic theater . . . . the hits just keep coming for the near east side and 10th Street! Thank you to all the folks, businesses, and residents who have hung in there and truly believed that there were better days ahead.
