INDIANAPOLIS — Applications are now being accepted for #LOVEat38th, a 5×5 ideas competition to benefit the 38th and Illinois Great Place. Taking place on Fri., Feb. 5 at 7 pm at the Harrison Center for the Arts (1505 N. Delaware St.), this event is a contest sponsored by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to foster community building and art-focused innovations in the 38th and Illinois Great Places neighborhoods.
For this 5×5, five finalists will be given 5 minutes and 5 slides to present an idea using the arts to benefit the 38th and Illinois Street neighborhoods. (All projects must take place within a quarter of a mile of the intersection of 38th and Illinois.) One winning project will receive $10,000 to make it happen.

Great Places 2020 is a collaborative, visionary community development initiative led by LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation) that will transform the livability, opportunities, vitality and education (LOVE) of six neighborhoods in Marion County into dynamic centers of culture, commerce, and community by the year 2020.
