INDIANAPOLIS — The Metropolitan School District of Warren Township Board of Education is accepting applications for a vacancy on the Board of Education. Individuals interested in serving on the Board of Education are to complete the application and submit a letter of interest no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10. The letter of interest should indicate the individual’s qualifications and experience and the reasons you would be interested in serving on the Warren Township School Board. Board of Education members must be a resident of Warren Township School District for at least two years, over the age of 18, and not an employee of MSD Warren Township as of the date assuming office.
The Board of Education will screen the applications and conduct interviews with at least three finalists on Monday, April 14 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The decision will be made on Wednesday, April 16 at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Education. The individual appointed to the Board of Education will serve the remainder of the term, which expires December 31.
Letters of interest and application are to be sent to Mr. Tony Mendez, President, Board of Education, M.S.D. of Warren Township, 975 North Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46219. Applications are available on the Warren website at www.warren.k12.in.us or at any MSD Warren Township building. Schools will be in session on April 7.
