INDIANAPOLIS — IPS will welcome Arlington High School back to the district in the fall of 2015. Stan Law, the current principal of Shortridge Magnet High School for Law and Public Policy, will continue serving the families of IPS as the new leader at Arlington. Mr. Law’s years of experience as an administrator at Shortridge and Broad Ripple High School for the Arts and Humanities have prepared him for this next leadership role.
Shane O’Day, currently serving as principal of Gambold Preparatory Magnet High School, will share his International Baccalaureate (IB) experience with the community as Shortridge begins the transition to an IB high school. As principal of Shortridge IB High School, Mr. O’Day will work closely with education leaders from Butler University for a renewed focus of Shortridge as a collaborative training ground for students, veteran teachers, and future educators.
