As of January 4, the Eastside Voice became the Weekly View. The name change was made to reflect the rapid growth of readership throughout the metropolitan Indianapolis area. With over 500 drop-off points in 24 zip codes, the Weekly View is a source of POSITIVE news about the community. With a readership of 25,000 every week, the Weekly View has grown to become one of the best-read papers in the area!
The Weekly View’s editorial focus has not changed. Our weekly columnists and local contributors are unique to our pages — writing about everything and anything that makes our community special. Local history, sports, antiques, financial health, wellness, seniors, youth, schools, public safety, the arts — the Weekly View is a great source of information and insight!
The Weekly View would not be possible without our advertisers — as a free community newspaper, our advertisers support the many expenses that make the publication of the paper possible. Without them, there would be no newspaper.
In addition, the Weekly View launched a new Web site, weeklyview.net. The new Web site offers readers our unique stories, columns, and features — plus access to the “flip” version of the paper. The new Web site can be read on mobile devices as well as desktop computers.
The Weekly View is an advertiser-supported community newspaper delivered on Thursdays to convenient, high-traffic areas throughout the area. We serve an area from downtown Indianapolis to Greenfield, Cumberland, the Near Eastside, Irvington, Little Flower, Woodruff Place, Broad Ripple, Lawrence, Geist, Castleton, Beech Grove, Southport, the near Southside, Wanamaker, and New Palestine.
