On May 31, a dedicated group of volunteers spread gravel, cut underbrush, and hauled mulch at Paul Ruster Bark Park. Indy Parks Dept. supplied mulch and gravel and volunteers who regularly use the park spent most of the day making the park a better place. Here, Bailey’s “mom,” Sterling’s “mom and dad,” and Kato’s “mom” move mulch. The park is located at 11300 E. Prospect St. An annual membership pass is $75 and includes admission to Smock Dog Park; a Day Pass is $5. Passes are available at Post Rd. Community Center, 1313 S. Post Rd.
