INDIANAPOLIS — Ascension St. Vincent recently provided hundreds of Hoosiers with free medical, dental and social services during its ninth annual Medical Mission at Home this week at St. Monica Catholic Church in Indianapolis. More than 200 volunteers — including physicians, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and social workers — came together to care for individuals and families facing barriers to care.
Guests received free screenings, flu shots, medication assistance and behavioral health support, along with access to essentials like coats, hygiene kits, car seats and food pantry items.
Events like this meet growing community needs as more Hoosiers face challenges affording or accessing care.
