INDIANAPOLIS — A $25,000 gift from the Denver & Marsha Jordan Educational Foundation to the Arsenal Technical High School’s Titan Robotics team will help expand its program.
With the continuing support from the foundation, Titan Robotics has grown to five teams and involves about 20 students in hands-on STEM experiences. Highlights included hosting two tournaments, mentoring IPS middle schoolers, competing in five events statewide, and earning multiple top awards. One team, 59096B XCEPT, even clinched the Excellence Award and advanced to the Indiana state championship.
There are plans in the works for students from the program to attend a Signature Event, secure a spot at the VEX World Robotics Championship in Dallas, and expand the IPS robotics programs district-wide.
