INDIANAPOLIS — The ABCs of Diabetes is a free, four-part diabetes education series offered each month by the Marion County Public Health Department. Classes provide adults with diabetes and pre-diabetes with access to educational services and resources for managing and preventing diabetes. Family members and friends are also welcome to attend. Topics include eating healthier, increasing activity, taking medications, and preventing complications.
Classes in April will be held at the Franklin Road Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, 5550 S. Franklin Rd., on Wednesday, April 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Participants should plan on attending all four classes.
