Blood and Sand, In Her Gilded Cage, and Monte Cristo received special mention and are being shown downtown this week. A special committee, with several educators, have been viewing pictures suitable for use in schools. Of those with educational value in the study of history, geography, civics, and science that have been selected are: Buffalo Bill, Behold the Man, National Bird Reservation, Wilderness Friends, Yosemite Valley, Story of an Eskimo, A Citizen and His Government, and Hats Off to the Flag. It was also decided to celebrate Riley Day, October 7, by showing a picture at a downtown theater and in the afternoon to show a picture at the Irvington theater.
