INDIANAPOLIS —East side residents came to the Community Heights neighborhood on Saturday, August 6, to pitch in and help create a traffic calming mural next to School 88 at East 16th and Graham Ave.
Dozens of volunteers came out to paint the eastbound lane of 16th St. just east of Graham, where students often walk or bike to school each day. Community Heights Neighborhood Association spearheaded the effort, and dozens came out to make quick work of the mural. The project has been in the works for almost a year and is the first installation in what is hoped will be several in the area.
