INDIANAPOLIS — Fathers and Families Center will conduct its first symposium with this year’s topic being fathers of children with special needs. The event will bring together national speakers, including Robert Naseef, a specialist of children with special needs.
The event is being titled Fathers of Children with Special Needs: A Call, A Conversation, A Celebration 2013, and will be held Nov. 16, at Ivy Tech Community College’s Corporate College and Culinary Center, 2820 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is $15 and will include a continental breakfast and lunch. Registration ends Monday, Nov. 11.

Fathers and Families Center is celebrating its 20th year serving fathers in Marion County. The center is a 501(c)(3) agency aimed at enhancing the capacity of young fathers to become responsible and involved parents, wage earners, and providers of child support.
