INDIANAPOLIS —State Rep. Blake Johnson (D-Indianapolis) urges Indiana House District 100 students who are interested in learning about lawmaking to apply for the 2022 House Page Program.
The Indiana House Page Program, designed for students who are at least 12 years of age, offers a firsthand look at the legislative process.
Participating students are excused from class for a day as they tour the Indiana Statehouse and take part in a wide range of activities, including a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of the Indiana State Legislature.
When the House of Representatives is in session, pages are invited to view the proceedings from the floor of the chamber.
Pages must supply their own transportation to and from the Statehouse in downtown Indianapolis.
