On July 13, the 20th Annual Cops Cycling for Survivors visiting IMPD East District to honor Officer Breann Leath, who was killed in the line of duty on April 9, 2020. They travelled with a Memorial Truck featuring pictures of fallen officers and stopped to pay respects with East District officers.
Each year, active officers and civilian participants raise awareness and actively support law enforcement survivors through a bicycle tour around the state of Indiana. Funds raised from the tour are used to support scholarships, camps and events held in memory of officers killed in the line of duty. Visit copscycling4survivors.org for more information.
