INDIANAPOLIS — Fans of the Indianapolis 500 can visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum again during limited winter hours, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. The new tours, “The Basement in 30” and “Kiss the Bricks” track tours, have also resumed.
The museum closed in November 2020 due to increased COVID-19 cases. Visitors will be limited to 25% capacity, and will be required to social distance and wear masks while in the building and on the Kiss the Bricks Tour.
Located on the grounds of the Speedway, the museum offers an impressive collection of autos and artifacts related to “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” There is a Hall of Fame, plus vehicles representing F-1, NASCAR, and much more.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, $8 for kids 6-15, and children under 5 are free. The Kiss the Bricks bus tour takes visitors out on the track; tours cost $22 for adults, $21 for seniors, and $15 for kids 6-15.
