INDIANAPOLIS — With residents encouraged to stay home to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and community partners like the Domestic Violence Network (DVN) recognize that community members may find themselves contained with an abuser. This social isolation can mean danger for these residents of our city.
There is no excuse for domestic violence. As we all spend more time in our homes, if you find yourself trapped in a dangerous situation, know that you are not alone — there are many resources that remain available.
