INDIANAPOLIS — Individuals of all ages are invited to meet Indianapolis Public Library CEO Jackie Nytes during her 2020 “Love Your Library, Share Your Voice” tour that includes visits to all IndyPL locations from Jan. 28 to March 3.
Those attending will learn about trends and activities throughout the Library system, including updates on new capital projects, and can offer their thoughts on how the Library can better serve patrons’ needs. Specifically, this year’s informal and conversational sessions will focus on how well the Library has met its goals prescribed in its current strategic plan and provide important feedback to help shape the Library’s future direction.
The CEO’s “Love Your Library, Share Your Voice” tour will take place at the following locations:
• Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Brightwood Branch 2435 N. Sherman Dr.
• Monday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Fountain Square Branch, 1066 Virginia Ave.
• Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Garfield Park Branch, 2502 Shelby St.
• Monday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at the East 38th Street Branch, 5420 E. 38th St.
• Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 4 p.m. at the Faith Presbyterian Church, 8170 Hague Rd. (in place of the Lawrence Branch which is closed for renovation)
• Saturday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Spades Park Branch, 1801 Nowland Ave.
• Monday, Feb. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the East Washington Branch, 2822 E. Washington St.
• Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Irvington Branch, 5626 E. Washington St.
• Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Road Branch, 5550 S. Franklin Rd.
• Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at the InfoZone (Children’s Museum), 3000 N. Meridian St.
• Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Southport Branch, 2630 E. Stop 11 Rd.
• Thursday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St.
• Sunday, March 1 at 2 p.m. at the Glendale Branch, 6101 N. Keystone Ave.
